Senior Biostatistician Job Description

Everest Clinical Research Services Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biostatistician to join our team in Markham, Ontario or remotely from a home-based office in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead statistical planning and methodologies for clinical trials and research projects.
  • Develop and review statistical analysis plans, statistical sections of study protocols, and data management plans.
  • Provide statistical expertise for design, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials and research projects.
  • Contribute to the writing of statistical sections of study protocols, perform sample size calculation, develop randomization specifications, and generate randomization codes.
  • Lead statistical dry runs and final runs, and perform third-level review of dry runs and final runs.
  • Review and provide input to the Analysis Data Reviewer's Guide and discuss and incorporate Data Standards Reviewer's review comments to ensure quality of the document.
  • Perform statistical analysis as per SAP, and address peer/QC review comments and findings.
  • Plan and conduct or contribute to the trial results reporting/dissemination meetings.
  • Write statistical report or statistical sections of the CSR.
  • Perform statistical analyses for publications, including but not limited to abstracts, manuscripts, presentations, and posters.
Requirements:
  • A Ph.D. degree in statistical science, mathematical analysis, or related fields plus 2 years highly relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 4 years highly relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability and sustained performance in statistical planning and methodologies, statistical analysis, and data management.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
