Brandt is seeking a skilled Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Mississauga Construction & Forestry location.

This individual will be responsible for completing on-site Preventive Maintenance services on commercial heavy equipment at customer sites utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and a new purpose-built truck.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing all levels of PM services on a scheduled basis in a professional manner
  • Identifying and reporting on additional items identified that require follow-up service work by a heavy-duty technician
  • Ensuring the accurate capture and reporting of PM service checklist, inspection, and work order information for the benefit of customer reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate must be motivated, energetic, and possess strong communication skills
  • Candidates must be willing to work after-hours and/or participate in shift-work as required to support customer needs
  • Must possess a DZ license
  • A recent driver's abstract will be required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have experience operating, servicing, and/or maintaining agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment
  • Candidates with trade experience to a second- or third-year apprentice level are encouraged to apply
  • Proven experience in contributing in a service-oriented environment working directly with customers and equipment operators are key assets
