Preventive Maintenance Technician Job Description

Brandt is seeking a skilled Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Mississauga Construction & Forestry location.

This role involves performing on-site Preventive Maintenance services on commercial heavy equipment at customer sites, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and a new purpose-built truck.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing all levels of PM services on a scheduled basis in a professional manner
  • Identifying and reporting on additional items that require follow-up service work by a heavy-duty technician
  • Ensuring accurate capture and reporting of PM service checklist, inspection, and work order information for customer reporting
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Motivated and energetic individual with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work after-hours and/or participate in shift-work as required to support customer needs
  • DZ license and recent driver's abstract required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience operating, servicing, and/or maintaining agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment
  • Trade experience to a second- or third-year apprentice level
  • Proven experience in a service-oriented environment working directly with customers and equipment operators
