Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of stockroom staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring that inventory levels are accurately recorded and that stockroom conditions are maintained.
- Ordering and Receiving: Place orders for merchandise and receive shipments, verifying that all items are in good condition and accurately accounted for.
- Authorization and Returns: Authorize returns of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of stockroom staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week
