Deliver Health and Convenience Services in Your Community

As a Pharmacist Community Specialist at Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix, you will play a key role in delivering health, beauty, and convenience services to your community. You will work closely with the Associate-Owner to provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers receive the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and conduct medication reviews to ensure patients receive the best possible care
  • Complete travel consultations and Point of Care testing as needed
  • Triage and move clinical services forward in a busy pharmacy environment
  • Maintain all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy
  • Control access to the dispensary and ensure patient confidentiality
  • Review stock to identify expired inventory and ensure all requirements for documentation and control of substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Regulations are met
  • Plan, coordinate, and delegate assignments and provide coaching to Pharmacy colleagues
  • Complete mandatory training and voluntary continuing education workshops as needed
