Job Summary

Adecco Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Entry/Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's finance team in a full-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Processing: Confirm and process vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Accounting Functions: Utilize QuickBooks Online for various accounting tasks, including coding and entering invoices into the system.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Check Runs and Payments: Manage weekly check runs and electronic payments.
  • Financial Closing: Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing tasks.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records.
  • Data Entry Support: Provide data entry support as needed.
Requirements
  • Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • QuickBooks Experience: At least 2 years of experience with QuickBooks Online.
  • Data Entry and Accounts Payable: Previous experience in data entry and accounts payable preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of working independently and collaboratively, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
