Job Title: Data Entry Clerk / Document Scanner Assistant

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, Days: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm or Afternoons: 4:30 pm to 12:00 am

Pay: $17.85/hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk / Document Scanner Assistant to join our team at Advantage Personnel. As a Data Entry Clerk / Document Scanner Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing documents for scanning, verifying the accuracy of scanned documents, and entering data into various databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of documents for scanning by removing staples and bindings to ensure efficient document processing
  • Quality Assurance to verify the accuracy of documents scanned
  • Using scanning equipment
  • Data Entry and indexing into various databases
  • Quality Control and review of output images for proper resolution and overall quality
  • Printing and assembling of documents into various bindings
  • Utilize computerized data entry equipment and various word processing and spreadsheets to enter necessary information
  • Working with colleagues in a team environment

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate skills in Adobe and Internet
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required
  • Computer skills, including experience with MS Office – Word and Excel
  • Able to work in an environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management in a very professional manner
