About the Role
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our small dynamic team working in the Transport division at SEA Ltd. The successful candidate will be involved in the full software development lifecycle of a large and complex full-stack web application developed for the Rail sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Defining project requirements and technical specifications in conjunction with the end customer's subject matter experts
* Evaluating and analysing software requirements
* Creating detailed software design and documentation
* Writing and implementing efficient code
* Conducting thorough testing to ensure software quality
* Integrating software components into a fully functional system
Requirements
* A proven track record of design and development of software against requirements/functional specification
* Good understanding of current software development practice including SOLID design principles, unit testing, TDD, use of design patterns, continuous integration, etc.
* Hands-on experience of developing and deploying web applications
* Extensive experience of software development for applications that are considered mission or business critical
* Experience of the full stack and at least 2 of the 3 specific technologies listed below: Java, Oracle, React
