About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at Second Approach Inc. as a Visual Communications Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective communications materials for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management
    • Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations
    • Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs
  • Design and Development
    • Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials
    • Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials
    • Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
    • Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives
    • Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers
    • Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements
    • Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides

  • Experience and Qualifications
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
