Golumbia printing is seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and effective communications materials for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Lead: Oversee and guide a team of graphic designers or graphic arts technicians to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Project Estimation: Accurately estimate the time required to complete graphic designs and illustrations, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client expectations.
  • Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their communications needs and objectives, providing expert guidance on the nature and content of illustrations.
  • Design and Development: Create realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations that meet client requirements, working in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Production Coordination: Oversee all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality output.
  • Subcontracting: Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Brand Development: Work with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials, aligning with their brand identity.
  • Medium Selection: Determine the most suitable medium and vehicle for communication, ensuring the desired visual effect is achieved.
  • Graphic Element Development: Create graphic elements that meet client objectives, adhering to their brand guidelines.
  • Guidelines Establishment: Develop and establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Preparation and Design: Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements, utilizing existing photo and illustration banks, and typography guides.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
