About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at Canadian Punjabi Post Inc. as a key member of our visual communications team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations for our publications
  • Adapt existing illustrations to meet the needs of our clients and publications
  • Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations to meet their communications needs
  • Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations for our publications
  • Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations for our clients
  • Work in a multidisciplinary environment to co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials
  • Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials
  • Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives
  • Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements for our publications
  • Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides to ensure consistency in our visual communications
