Job Title: Field Service Technician for Electronic Products

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Safeway Electrical Inc. as a Field Service Technician for Electronic Products.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing electronic equipment and assemblies, diagnosing and locating circuit, component, and equipment faults, and adjusting, aligning, replacing, or repairing electronic equipment and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies to identify faults and defects
  • Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults using specialized tools and equipment
  • Adjust, align, replace, or repair electronic equipment and assemblies to ensure proper functioning
  • Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports to document work performed
  • Prepare cost estimates for repairs and maintenance
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand electronic equipment and systems
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
  • Experience in electronics repair and maintenance an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift equipment
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work on-site with customers, performing repairs and maintenance on electronic equipment and systems.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

35 to 40 hours per week.
