About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Field Service Technician to join our team at Safeway Electrical Inc. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch repair and maintenance services for our clients' electronic equipment and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Electronic Equipment: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on electronic equipment and assemblies to identify faults and defects.
  • Diagnose and Repair Faults: Use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair circuit, component, and equipment faults.
  • Adjust and Align Equipment: Adjust, align, and replace electronic equipment and assemblies as needed to ensure proper functioning.
  • Complete Work Orders and Reports: Accurately complete work orders and test and maintenance reports to document your work.
  • Prepare Cost Estimates: Provide cost estimates for repairs and maintenance services.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret blueprints and drawings to understand electronic equipment and assembly designs.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Network and Wireless Knowledge: Understanding of networks, wireless networks, and wireless routers.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, and a team player attitude.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 35-40 hours per week. The work language is English.
