Description:

We are seeking an experienced Application/Solution Architect to join our team at Global Pharma Tek. The successful candidate will have a minimum of fifteen years of IM/IT experience, with a strong background in software development and architecture.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience as a Senior Programmer/Systems Analyst and at least three years of experience as an Application/Solution Architect. They will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and demonstrated experience working with Provincial Health Care and Electronic Health Care applications in a Canadian context.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, documenting, coding, testing, and implementing technical solutions to meet business requirements. They will also have experience with large software systems, including web interfaces, batch processes, time-based transactions, long running transactions, and multiple integration points.

Additionally, the candidate will have experience in architecture where multiple systems and domains must be considered from an enterprise view. They will also have experience with system performance analysis and optimization, as well as experience as a.Net developer, Microsoft SQL Server, and Java/JavaScript developer.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and team player, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technical solutions to meet business requirements
  • Design and develop large software systems
  • Work with multiple systems and domains from an enterprise view
  • Perform system performance analysis and optimization
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation

Requirements:

  • Minimum of fifteen years of IM/IT experience
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a Senior Programmer/Systems Analyst
  • Minimum of three years of experience as an Application/Solution Architect
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated experience working with Provincial Health Care and Electronic Health Care applications in a Canadian context

  • Demonstrated experience with large software systems
