Job Title: Application/Solution Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Application/Solution Architect to join our team at Global Pharma Tek. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions to meet the business requirements of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business needs and technical requirements
* Design and implement technical solutions to meet business objectives
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members

Requirements:

* Minimum 15 years of IM/IT experience
* Minimum 5 years as a Senior Programmer/Systems Analyst
* Minimum 3 years experience as an Application/Solution Architect
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
* Demonstrated experience working with Provincial Health Care and Electronic Health Care applications in a Canadian context
* Demonstrated experience developing, documenting, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions to meet business requirements
* Demonstrated experience with large software systems consisting of web interfaces, batch processes, time-based transactions, long running transactions and multiple integration points
* Demonstrated experience in architecture where multiple systems and domains must be considered from an enterprise view
* Demonstrated experience with system performance analysis and optimization
* Demonstrated experience as a.Net developer
* Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
* Demonstrated experience as a developer with JAVA, Java Script
* Demonstrated experience in security relating to data confidentiality and client privacy issues in application design and development
