About the Technical Architect Position

The Technical Architect will play a crucial role in the success of client projects by designing and overseeing the architecture of solutions to meet client needs for e-commerce and website projects. This includes ensuring technical requirements are met, managing the project backlog, collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and supporting the sales cycle.

Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for the architecture of solutions and participating in the development of client projects to meet their needs in e-commerce and website creation.
  2. Ensure that the solutions meet the customer's technical, functional, and non-functional requirements as well as the architectural standards of the project.
  3. Ensure the solution implementation is compatible with the architectural needs of the customer.
  4. Work with project managers and development teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time, on budget, and true to scope.
  5. Communicate regularly with external clients regarding the progress, challenges, timelines, and results of their projects.
  6. Contribute to the effectiveness of development projects by analyzing, designing, and evolving the architecture of clients' environments in line with their current and future structure and needs.
  7. As needed, support the company in the sales cycle as well as the project definition phases.
  8. Contribute to the consistency and quality of developments by participating in code reviews and following best practices in development and testing.
  9. Work in an Agile development environment, be part of the SCRUM team and contribute to the improvement of the internal functioning of the team.
  10. Very good communication skills in French and English
  11. 6+ Enterprise solution experiences
  12. Strong understanding of the foundations and architectures of the Web in a .NET environment
  13. Experience in Content and Technical Architecture Design
  14. Experience developing B2B and/or B2C websites
  15. Experience with CMS and commerce platforms such as Optimizely, Umbraco, Sitecore, Orckestra Commerce
  16. Understanding eCommerce/eBusiness Concepts (Catalogs, inventory, pricing, transactions, order management, Membership)
  17. Experience in System Integrations, esp ERP, PIM, but also CRM, DAM, CDP
  18. Understanding of commerce related marketing and analytics practices
  19. In-depth understanding of web application security best practices
  20. An understanding of search engine friendly markup and site search techniques
  21. Knowledge of React, VueJS, TypeScript is a plus.
  22. Experience with Azure DevOps technologies
  23. Autonomous: knows how to plan and organize their work by clearly setting priorities.
