Qualifications

Work Environment

This position is set in a vibrant **restaurant** atmosphere, where you will engage with customers and contribute to a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with local liquor laws and regulations.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Present bills and process payments through various methods including cash and credit cards.
  • Provide detailed descriptions of menu items and daily specials to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, trays, and dining areas.
  • Assist guests in selecting wines and beverages.
  • Welcome patrons, present menus, and offer recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Manage inventory of wines and related glassware.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations of wines to ensure quality service.
  • Take and relay orders to kitchen and bar staff efficiently.
  • Support guests with special needs to ensure their comfort.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
Supervision

This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

Certifications
  • Possession of a **Serving It Right Certificate** is required.
Technical Skills

Familiarity with point of sale systems is essential for this role.

Safety and Security
  • Must be bondable and undergo a criminal record check.
Transportation

Please note that public transportation is not available for this position.

Physical Requirements

Ability to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as needed.
