Emergency Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Guelph General Hospital. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and Treat Patients: Accurately diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.
- Prescribe Medication and Treatment: Order and prescribe medication, treatments, and other interventions as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Medical Knowledge: Stay current with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Education: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in emergency medicine or a related field is an asset.
- Certifications: Must hold the necessary certifications and licenses to practice medicine in Canada.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
