Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Child and Youth Care Worker to join our team on a casual basis. As a Child and Youth Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students in a variety of settings, including schools and community programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group support to students with diverse needs and abilities
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans to promote positive behavior and social skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Experience working with children and youth in a school or community setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
