About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Trust Services Expert to join our team at National Bank. As a key member of our Fiduciary Services department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional client service and expertise in trust administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and recommendations to the Director of Fiduciary Services to support decision-making and file processing.
  • Participate in client communications and meetings to build strong relationships and deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Analyze wills and other legal documents to identify key issues and provide recommendations to the DFS.
  • Conduct regulatory monitoring of estates, trusts, and mandates to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Perform administrative tasks and follow-up activities to support file processing and closure.
  • Act as administrator for managed companies, preparing financial statements, resolutions, and other corporate documents as needed.
  • Ensure the quality processing of files under your responsibility, communicating progress to internal partners, clients, and external experts as required.
Requirements
  • Registration with the Order of the Chambre des notaires du Québec or the Barreau du Québec.
  • Customer service experience and significant experience in a consulting role.
  • Experience in estate liquidation or trust administration.
  • Knowledge of investment or financial planning is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills, priority management, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to resolve complex and ambiguous challenges and situations in a practical manner.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Ability to create strong professional relationships and build trust with clients.
