Restaurant Operations Manager

Award-winning Awara Restaurant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to boost profits and maintain financial stability.
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase customer engagement and sales.
- Lead and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, liquor laws, and other relevant legislation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices and services.
- Participate in menu planning, pricing, and inventory management to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- College or CEGEP diploma in a related field (e.g., hospitality, business, or culinary arts).
- At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Physical stamina to work in a restaurant environment, including standing, walking, and lifting.
- Fast-paced environment.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 hours per week.
