Position:
Vendor Managed Inventory Specialist

Job Type:
Full-Time

In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing and optimizing inventory levels at various customer locations. Your responsibilities will include delivering exceptional customer service and driving account development.

Reporting directly to the Branch Operations Manager, you will assist clients in recognizing how ERIKS can address their operational challenges.

A strong commitment to safety protocols is essential, both within ERIKS and at client sites.
You will ensure accurate product stocking levels by utilizing scanning techniques for inventory management.

Deliveries of products from the local branch to customer sites will be part of your duties, utilizing either a company van or box truck.

Engage with customers to identify additional product requirements and create new orders.
During site visits, assess customer needs and collaborate with sales teams to broaden ERIKS' service offerings.
Implement scanning solutions at designated customer locations as necessary.
Approximately 60% of your time will be spent in the field, servicing customers directly.
Act as a vital link between the Account Manager, Branch, and customers.
Address various technical and operational challenges.

Effective communication with customers, customer service representatives, and account representatives is crucial, both verbally and in writing.

Proficiency in computer skills is required, along with basic mathematical abilities including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Familiarity with hand tools is also necessary.
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehousing or production within an industrial environment is required.
~ Experience in inventory control is essential.
~ A valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record are mandatory.
~ Background checks and drug screenings may be conducted as required by company or customer policies.
