Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Bulkley Valley District Hospital. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients admitted to the acute care unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the physical, social, and psychological needs of patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions and develop effective care plans to address their needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Minimum one (1) year medical/surgical experience and/or equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Current CPR (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification or willingness to complete within 1 year.
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
