Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our 24-bed Acute Care facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement effective care plans to meet patients' needs and promote optimal health outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Minimum one (1) year medical/surgical experience and/or equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Current CPR (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification or willingness to complete within 1 year.
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
