Territorial Communicable Disease Coordinator

**Job Summary:**
The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Territorial Communicable Disease Coordinator.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide strategic direction to healthcare professionals in accordance with legislation, approved standards, policy, resources, and evidence-based practice.
- Coordinate communicable disease management in accordance with surveillance, control, treatment, education, and prevention programming for all communicable diseases in the territory.
- Provide and coordinate communicable disease consultative services for regional public health service programs and community health centers.
**Requirements:**
- Baccalaureate in Nursing plus five (5) years recent experience of a clinical healthcare setting with four (4) years of the experience being in Public Health or Community Health.
- Eligibility for registration with College and Association of Nurses of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (CANNN).
