About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at NAMASTE INDIAN SUPERMARKET MISSISSAUGA. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales workers, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet sales targets.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer requests and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are rotated regularly.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights and recommendations to improve store performance.
  • Store Operations: Establish work schedules, authorize returns, and ensure that the store is clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail management role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 to 44 hours per week.
