Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide consultative services to the pediatric unit, emergency department, and community-based practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide community child and adolescent mental health services in collaboration with the Ministry of Children and Family Development and community mental health services.
- Deliver Child & Adolescent Psychiatry community mental health and inpatient services.
- Offer developmental delay and mental health services.
- Provide private child and adolescent psychiatry services in the community.
- Contribute to the provision of service to KBRH's 12 bed general adult inpatient unit while providing on-call coverage.
Our team is dedicated to providing quality psychiatric care to residents throughout the Kootenay Boundary region. We strive to support family physicians, pediatricians, and child & youth mental health services through community work.
