Store Operations Manager

Job Overview
At Sherwin-Williams, we're looking for a highly skilled Store Manager to lead our retail sales team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of your store, ensuring it runs smoothly and effectively. This includes managing all aspects of store operations, including scheduling, customer service, marketing, merchandising, inventory, financial reporting, and safety.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability
* Meet sales goals by training, motivating, and mentoring store employees
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
* Build and maintain knowledge of all products to ensure effective customer recommendations
* Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers
* Complete store administration, including financial reporting and safety protocols
* Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including loss prevention and security
* Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
* Provide accurate and timely reporting as required
* Manage employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action
* Respond to and resolve any customer and/or employee complaints
Qualifications
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
* Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
* Must have at least a High School diploma or GED
* Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
* Must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role, supervising others, or leading teams
* Must have at least one year of experience working in a retail, sales, or customer service position
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
* Experience using timekeeping and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems
* Associate degree or higher in business, sales, or marketing
* At least one year of work experience as an Assistant Store or Branch Operations Manager for Sherwin-Williams
* Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities
* Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
