Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail store in Guelph, Ontario. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets
  • Lead and manage a team of retail sales associates, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs, inventory shrinkage, and other operational expenses
  • Ensure exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with the store's leadership team to develop and implement business strategies and initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field an asset
  • Minimum 2-3 years of retail management experience, preferably in a similar role
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and reducing operational expenses
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines
