At All Weather Windows, we are looking for a dedicated Fleet Supervisor to oversee our shipping operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our fleet operates efficiently and effectively, aligning with our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the fleet and dispatch team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Oversee regular maintenance of vehicles and trailers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients to guarantee seamless service.
- Ensure all necessary licenses and permits for fleet operations are current and valid.
- Conduct training for drivers on safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Review vendor services and manage invoices related to fleet maintenance and operations.
- Monitor and report on fleet performance metrics, driving improvements where necessary.
- Collaborate with procurement for fleet acquisition and disposal strategies.
- Lead regular meetings with drivers to discuss operational updates and address concerns.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management or a related field.
- Experience in logistics, shipping, and warehouse operations.
- Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team development.
- Knowledge of fleet maintenance practices and regulations.
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License is preferred.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
