**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team at Crawford & Company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in evaluating commercial property claims, with a focus on physical damage and cargo claims through loss investigation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Evaluate commercial property claims, including physical damage and cargo claims, to determine the extent of damage and liability.
- Negotiate settlements with policyholders and other stakeholders in accordance with provincial licensing requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in claims handling.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless claims handling and resolution.
**Requirements**
- 10 or more years of functional and technical claims handling experience in cargo, commercial property, and transportation claims.
- Strong understanding of commercial policy interpretation and the ability to make recommendations to the market.
- Licensed or CIP and/or FCIP designation.
- Excellent report writing skills and ability to communicate complex information effectively.
- Strong team player with outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with opportunity for career growth.
