Senior Tax Manager Opportunity

Baker Tilly SNT is a leading CPA firm in Northern Ontario, offering a unique blend of local expertise and national resources. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our team in North Bay, Ontario.

As a Senior Tax Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to our clients. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goal of providing exceptional client service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with partners and senior staff on tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory engagements.
  • Develop and deliver tax planning and advisory services to clients.
  • Provide coaching and professional development to firm staff on tax matters.
  • Identify and pursue new sales and service opportunities for clients.
  • Prepare and present technical sessions to firm staff.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty.
  • Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).
  • Successful completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Masters of Tax Program.
  • Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and develop team members.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, Caseware/Casview, TaxPrep, and tax research software.
  • Proven project management and time management skills to organize, implement, and execute projects.
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
  • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
