Senior Tax Manager or Principal Opportunity

Baker Tilly Canada Cooperative is a leading CPA firm in Northern Ontario, with a strong presence in Sudbury, Timmins, and North Bay. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager or Principal to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to work closely with partners, managers, and other senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory engagements. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality tax planning, services, and advice, while providing support, coaching, and professional development to firm staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tax planning, services, and advice to clients
  • Work closely with partners and managers on tax engagements
  • Provide support and coaching to firm staff
  • Prepare and present technical sessions to firm staff
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty
  • Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA)
  • Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, project management, and organizational skills
  • High proficiency in MS Office, Caseware/Casview, TaxPrep, and tax research software
  • Proven project management and time management skills

Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
