Electronics Assembly Technician

Position Overview:
Alert Labs is on the lookout for a dedicated individual to become a vital part of our manufacturing assembly team.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in electronics and will play a crucial role in the product assembly process. This includes not only assembling products but also providing initial debugging and repair support for manufacturing discrepancies and product returns.
We seek a candidate who is capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a close-knit team environment. The successful applicant will be organized, driven, and will approach all tasks with a proactive mindset.
The preferred candidate will have between 1 to 3 years of experience in a technical capacity within an electronics manufacturing setting, with hands-on experience in product assembly, debugging, and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct first-level debugging and repair of manufacturing line issues.
- Execute initial analysis, identify root causes, and determine the disposition of product returns.
- Collaborate with third-party partners to ensure efficient processing of product returns.
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments to support distribution needs.
- Provide basic technical support for production lines, addressing equipment and application issues.
- Perform PCB assembly solder repairs and reworks to meet development and production requirements.
- Oversee project management tasks related to product reworks and smaller manufacturing projects.
- Assemble products as needed to align with business priorities.
Required Skills and Education:
- Completion of post-secondary education with a focus on electronics.
- Prior experience in electronic product debugging and repair, including PCB soldering skills.
- Ability to manage small-scale projects with multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various functional teams.
