About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team at RONA Inc. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory levels, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Cycle Counting: Plan and execute annual cycle count plans, utilizing resources effectively and maintaining control of locations counted.
  • Inventory Investigations: Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and develop corrective action plans with Operations.
  • Store Inventory Claims: Investigate and resolve store inventory claims, making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy.
  • Audit Support: Assist in organizing audits as needed, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance inventory management efficiency.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 3 to 5 years in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record in inventory management, preferably in a warehouse or distribution centre setting.
  • Certifications: Certificate in Administration or Inventory Management.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced computer skills, especially with Excel and Access. Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is required, with Blue Yonder WMS being a strong asset.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to multitask, handle change well, and work effectively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and time management skills.
