About the Role

At Mount Royal University, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of our inventory, from receiving and processing shipments to maintaining accurate records and resolving discrepancies.

Responsibilities
  • Fulfilling online orders and meal plan orders daily, with a focus on back-to-school periods.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, resolving online customer service issues, and communicating with customers through various channels.
  • Monitoring the status of backorders, liaising with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of merchandise.
  • Assisting with inventory counts, reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaborating with the Inventory Control Supervisor to maintain accurate records, process invoices, and reconcile credits.
Requirements
  • One year of post-secondary education or equivalent experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical skills in ERP management, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of inventory systems and online order processing and shipping.
