About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Cattail Crossing Ltd. as a Greenskeeper Helper. This is a permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Support our team in building and maintaining golf course landscapes, including planting trees, flowers, and shrubs.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Maintain the appearance of our golf course by removing weeds, pruning trees, and trimming plants.
  • Cut Grass: Operate lawn mowers and other equipment to maintain the grass on our golf course.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist in the transportation and application of topsoil and other materials to maintain the golf course.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Apply fertilizers to the golf course to promote healthy growth.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance on equipment and make repairs as needed.
  • Write Daily Progress Reports: Document daily progress and tasks completed.
  • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Ensure the health and appearance of our golf course by watering and tending to plants, lawns, and gardens.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Operate and maintain equipment used for landscape maintenance.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Handling Heavy Loads: Ability to lift and move heavy loads.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
  • Combination of Sitting, Standing, Walking: Ability to work in a variety of positions, including sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Bending, Crouching, Kneeling: Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks.
Personal Suitability
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.

Experience
