Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SEO Director to join our team and help us achieve our mission. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine ranking factors and current SEO practices, as well as experience in managing a team of SEO Engineers and Analysts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify on-page SEO opportunities
  • Perform comprehensive site audits
  • Perform in-depth log file analysis
  • Own performance monitoring reports and KPIs
  • Work with Content Strategy to determine keyword content opportunities for client sites
  • Perform competitive analysis to identify actionable insights
  • Work with Development and Content Creation teams to implement SEO processes
  • Train and manage a team of SEO Engineers and Analysts
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of search engine optimization experience
  • Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of search engine ranking factors and current SEO practices
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS required
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and relevant frameworks such as React and Angular
  • Familiar with industry-standard SEO software
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Excel and PowerPoint
  • Prior team management experience
  • Relational Database skills such as MySQL
  • Backend programming language such as Python or PHP
