We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating new recipes, instructing cooks, and preparing food for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Plan and develop menus that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Culinary Leadership: Lead and train our culinary team to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, including special dishes for guests with dietary restrictions.
- Inventory Management: Manage food inventory and supplies to ensure efficient use and minimize waste.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experience.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, standing for extended periods.
