About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Eagle21 Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimation and Planning
    • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Construction and Installation
    • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
    • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
    • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Site Management
    • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites
    • Estimate costs and materials for projects
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Work Environment
    • Ability to work at heights
    • Ability to work in noisy, dusty, and outdoors environments
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
    • Ability to handle heavy loads
    • Physically demanding work
