Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant Supervisor

About the Role:

The Pharmacy Assistant Supervisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, scheduling professional clinical services, and contributing to pharmacy excellence in customer service, workflow efficiencies, PROfile programs, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule pharmacy assistants and coordinate pharmacy workflow
  • Manage department personnel, including scheduling, recruitment, performance management, and training
  • Coach pharmacy assistants to deliver superior customer experiences and contribute to a health and wellness environment
  • Promote PROfile Programs and educate pharmacy assistants
  • Communicate operational requirements and changes to pharmacy support staff
  • Complete monthly reporting and supervise inventory management
  • Process customer transactions, assemble prescriptions, and perform administrative duties
  • Receive refill requests, record deliveries, and perform data entry tasks
  • Manage product orders, deliveries, and drug order creation
  • Assemble pill packs, manage BTC, and perform Rx Will Call/Release tasks
  • Ensure OH&S and regulatory requirements are implemented and maintained
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of MS Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree, Pharmacy Technician Certificate, or equivalent recognized program
