About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Onshore New Unit Project Engineer to join our team at Siemens Energy Canada Limited. As a key member of our Gas Services organization, you will play a critical role in executing the on-shore scope of new unit sales contracts with excellence, enabling customers to reach their decarbonization goals with our innovative power generation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Relationship Management

Build strong relationships with customers by quickly responding to their needs and collaborating with Siemens Energy product lines to provide a solution that adds the most value.

Project Resource Management

Arrange for and manage resources to support site work, such as people, parts, tools, consumables, and safety equipment.

Team Leadership

Lead and motivate diverse project teams by making technical and commercial decisions, while maintaining focus on the customer and project goals.

Financial Management

Manage budgets and forecasts for the execution work by tracking man-hours and costs, ensuring that the project remains profitable, and the customer is informed.

Technical Expertise

Apply a broad knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in the commercial and technical management of turbine and generator equipment.

Requirements

  • Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

5 or more years of relevant experience.

Certification

Selected candidate will be required to obtain project management certification within 24 months.
