Job Title: Organizational Development Consultant

At Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, we are seeking an experienced Organizational Development Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in driving our strategic directions and fostering a positive culture.

Job Summary:

The Organizational Development Consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs, facilitating individual and group training sessions, and providing leadership support for strategic thinking, change management, and operational goals. This role will also involve creating and facilitating content development for our Learning Management System and ensuring that corporate education strategies support our strategic directions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement training programs to support leadership development, change management, and operational goals.
  • Facilitate individual and group training sessions in areas such as leadership, coaching, communication, and change management.
  • Provide leadership support for strategic thinking, change management, and operational goals.
  • Create and facilitate content development for our Learning Management System.
  • Ensure that corporate education strategies support our strategic directions.
  • Identify issues and trends impacting our culture and implement best practices protocol for professional and personal development.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education or Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in a complex healthcare setting.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional-level experience with advanced knowledge of principles, theories, and practices in Organizational Development, Leadership Development, and alternative training delivery methods.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning styles, QI processes, and advanced consulting methods.
  • Instructional and facilitation/training experience in areas such as leadership, coaching, communication, and change management.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment and ability to foster strong relationships.
