We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Tax and Retirement Research to join our team at Fidelity Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for generating and communicating educational and informative materials related to tax, retirement, and other subject matter expert topics.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate tax, retirement, and other SME messages to Fidelity's advisor clients, investors, and the general public through publications, presentations, and media interviews and appearances, with a particular focus on French language communications.
- Identify and research tax, retirement, and selected other issues relevant to Fidelity's business.
- Assist in the coordination and ensure consistency of communication of tax and retirement research through Fidelity's various sales channels.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent work experience.
- ~7+ years of work experience related to taxation and investments.
- ~ A professional designation such as the CPA, masters degree or equivalent (tax related preferred) is nice to have.
- ~ Knowledge of mutual funds, retirement issues, and other industry-related matters.
- ~ Must be fluently bilingual in French and English.
