Key Responsibilities- Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair complex issues with commercial transport truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Communication: Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to discuss work assignments, progress, and any issues that may arise.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all repairs and maintenance work meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Language: Fluency in French.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
The successful candidate will work in a garage environment, with exposure to dust, dirt, and noise. Steel-toed safety boots are required.
