Job Title: Mechanic - Truck

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic - Truck to join our team at Olymel S.E.C/ Transport Transbo. As a Mechanic - Truck, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks.

Job Description:Work Environment:

Our work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on safety and efficiency. As a Mechanic - Truck, you will work in a well-equipped shop with a team of experienced technicians.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including adjustments, repairs, and replacements of parts and components.
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the repair and maintenance of commercial transport trucks.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma in a related field, such as automotive or heavy equipment repair.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in a commercial transport truck environment.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial transport truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
