Position Overview
This role involves delivering therapeutic services to clients referred by various governmental agencies as part of a collaborative team. Key responsibilities include:
- Administering and interpreting standardized psychological assessments.
- Developing tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments.
- Implementing evidence-based psychological interventions.
- Performing additional related duties as required.
The Operational Stress Injury (OSI) Clinic is an outpatient facility dedicated to supporting current and former military personnel and law enforcement members dealing with Operational Stress Injuries. Our goal is to provide specialized assessment and treatment to those in need.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Psychology from an accredited institution; a PhD is preferred.
- Current registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
- Proven experience in delivering effective individual and group therapy.
- Experience working with military or law enforcement personnel is an asset.
- Background in treating anxiety disorders, including PTSD, is preferred.
