Trotter & Morton Facility Services is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Journeyman Plumber. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing preventative maintenance contracts, along with the modification, repair, and replacement of mechanical systems.
The ideal candidate will possess Journeyman certification and have a background in a mechanical service environment. This role requires the ability to follow direct instructions, excellent time management capabilities, and strong communication skills with both customers and colleagues. We expect this individual to learn and adapt to our rigorous business model that has contributed to our ongoing success.
We also welcome applications from 3rd or 4th year apprentices.
Trotter and Morton's Facility Services Division is a UA170 registered division.

Key Responsibilities
- Review work orders to identify issues, determine necessary services, and procure replacement parts.
- Conduct plumbing repairs in commercial facilities, common areas of condo towers, and some tenant-related work.
- Perform repairs on furnaces, hot water tanks, and boilers as needed.
- Inspect plumbing systems and provide recommendations for more extensive issues.
- Identify deficiencies in other units and report findings to the Service Manager.
- Deliver a professional level of customer service to tenants.
- Prepare work estimates for clients.
- Mentor apprentices.
- Ensure high levels of customer service excellence.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications
- Trade Certification/Red Seal.
- Gas A or B ticket.
- Experience in service roles.
- Valid class 5 driver's license with a clean 5-year driving record.
