Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and leadership to the finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial plans and forecasts, analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, identifying and mitigating financial risks to protect the company's assets.

Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a CPA/CA designation.
  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive financial reporting leadership experience in a high-growth, public company with international operations, or from an accounting firm.
  • Skills: Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS), exceptional communication and analytical skills, ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
