Job SummaryThe Store Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes managing staff, assigning duties, and implementing marketing strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Manage a team of 5-10 staff members, including recruiting, hiring, and supervising.
- Operations: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, including managing inventory, implementing price and credit policies, and locating and procuring merchandise for resale.
- Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and revenue growth, including studying market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity.
- Financial Management: Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring that the store operates within budget.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure.
The Store Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
